Ric Shields

Ric Shields is a follower of Jesus who loves his wife and family. He enjoys writing, especially about life experiences from growing up on a farm in eastern Iowa, to the villages of Bangladesh, the heart of Egypt, twenty-nine countries on six continents, and countless places in between.

He is the founder and director of DoorWays® Ministry Network, and he believes the call to ministry is experienced by many more than those who embrace it vocationally.

Dr. Shields is the recipient of the Oral Roberts University Outstanding Biology and Chemistry Department Alumnus (2013–2014) and a Doctor of Humane Letters from Logos University (2015).

Megan Daubert

My name is Megan. I live in the beautiful coastal city of Virginia Beach. I love the Lord and am desperate to truly know Him. I absolutely love life, joy, bright colors, dance parties, beautiful things and, most of all, people. I am currently fighting for hope and healing in my “Joyful Rebellion Against the Darkness” (thank you, Katherine Wolf, for that charge). Navigating life with my husband who tragically suffered a brain injury and raising my three kids in the midst of a traumatic life experience is something I never considered would be part of my bio. Spoiler alert: I absolutely do not have it figured out but I find life much easier to handle when we live authentically within our communities.
